Size and Backstory
The 'Puma SW' painting measures 12 x 16 inches and comes with a handmade rustic wooden frame. The artist was visiting a small creek that feeds the Cowichan River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This particular creek was where her Grandmother used to to go fishing for trout and would take along the artist. Years later, when the creek had changed much from logging, the artist revisited the area. She climbed down from the bridge overhead and headed downstream to paint a warm afternoon away. Although the cougar wasn't there this day, she could just imagine one slaking his thirst in the cool water.
